Statistics Canada released the first two reports from the voluntary National Household Survey on Aboriginal Peoples in Canada, and Immigration and Ethnocultural Diversity.

See Aboriginal Peoples in Canada: First Nations People, Métis and Inuit and Immigration and Ethnocultural Diversity in Canada. The voluntary National Household Survey replaced the Census of Population. The National Household Survey had a 68.6% response rate compared to the 2006 Census’s 96.5% response rate.
